Well, today wasn't the day..

Declan did not come home today. He has to be off oxygen, breathing room air for 24 hours before they will release him. His school called today to let me know there is a folder for him with notes from all his classmates, which I thought was sweet. The doctor said he will be at school on Monday, but I will try to go get it this afternoon to bring him this evening when I go back to stay the night with him.
Thanks for the well wishes. We are going to get him on a maintenance program so hopefully we do not end up at the hospital again.

With the Asthma again....

Declan is in the hospital again, with difficulties due to his asthma. I forgot to take pictures of him when he was all hooked up to a million things, but I did get a photo of him in the ambulance this time. I hope he can come home tomorrow - send your good thoughts his way!

Challenged.

I am blog header challenged. I can't figure out how to have the title of the blog show up in that frame up there. Drives me crazy. If anyone knows, fix me.
It's crazy windy here, stormy. I spent the weekend tearing up the landscape cloth from the planter beds out front. It was like pulling up sod, the grass was growing on the top of it like carpet! Problem is that I don't know what to do with it now, then it started raining. So there it sits. In the middle of the walkway, all muddy.
I'm working on my pictures on the big plugged in computer, and the time is limited before a child needs something so it's going slow. I've been using this adorable little netbook to surf the net on, and it doesn't need plugged it. Bonus since we are on electricity lock-down following a monstrous PG&E bill. Turns out the Christmas tree (that we'd had plugged in all day, everyday for 3 weeks) was a complete energy hog. Anywhoo, we're trying to conserve.
I'd like to put some recent house pictures on here. We've been working hard around here - hope it shows!

Heaven is a luckier place today....

because of a little redheaded angel named Baylee Rose Tadlock. Please say a little prayer for my friend Sonda and her husband, so that their hearts may not be as heavy.
