Scrap kit for a great cause!

I want to take a moment to let everyone that reads my blog know about a very cool scrap kit for a great cause. My friend Sonda is doing a scrapbook kit fundraiser for her daughter Baylee. You can find the kit here: http://scrapforacure.com/getproduct.php?pid=323 You can click on Sonda's name to read more about her and her sweet daughter. Please take a look!

Thanks for all the nice comments! And a sad realization...

I appreciate all the nice comments everyone has been leaving! It's fun to read other people's blogs too! Thanks again.
Now, for the sad realization. I found that as long as I do ABSOLUTELY nothing for me, then I have enough time to get done in a day what needs to get done. I have not completely unpacked from camp yet, my nails are a mess, and as long as I keep my home keeping standards relatively low, it's all good ~ pity party over.

How Can it Possibly be.......

That Declan turned 5 years old on Saturday?

Here is 5 yrs ago:

Here he is, just a few days old.

This is Declan's 1st Birthday.

What a little DUDE he was at 1.

Here he is, turning 2.....

Sweet little boy, see my preggo belly (blue shirt behind him)??? That would be Teagan in there.

Declan turning 3...

This is his 4th birthday.... yep, and another preggo belly. (And YES, people, as you can see in the background, WE DO HAVE A TV!!! We don't spend all of our 'spare' time making babies....)

And then this year, turning the big 5.

He got a 2 wheel Razor scooter, blue, of course!

AND, we took him to Chevy's. Although, I don't think he was nearly as amused as we were when they sang to him. Did I mention that he has always been rather serious? I wondered if he was old enough to be embarrassed? I think I remember getting embarrassed and blushing by the time I was five.

He was a little more interested when he realized that they were bringing him some ice cream.

They were kind enough to bring an ice cream for Teagan too. Notice the Strawberry Shortcake pretties in her hair, and the pretty bracelet that Nana sent her. Where did my baby go? She's looking so big girl now too.

Last, but certainly not least, even Maren got to partake in the festivities!

Wow. Amazing, really. Look at how much has changed in the last 5 years! Our kiddos, our house and furniture. Look how much I've changed too. Weird. Wild. Stuff.

And this one time...... at scrap camp......

I went on my annual weekend scrapbooking retreat at the beginning of April. Nor'Mom' came to help Greg out with the pack o'kids. My girlfriends Erin and Janice went again this year too. It was a blast, I got a TON done (which was amazing considering I had spent NO time preparing anything....) and fun was had by all!

This where Erin and I sit. We got to camp way early to get the same table we sat at last year. It overlooks a big meadow, complete with grazing deer. But it also has some glare from the windows, we sit here because it has blinds!! We all sit out in an enclosed porch. The last 2 yrs have been great, the first year we FROZE, it was windy and rainy. All the tarps on the floor were flappin in the breeze. The freezing breeze!
This is my space. The unreal amount of stuff I brought with me...... the total value of everyone's stuff is probably over a million dollars!!!!
All in all, the weekend was fun, I can't wait to go back next year. The weekend went by wayyyyyy too fast......

On another note, I worked on a few pages for the album of a friend of a friend's daughter. She is undergoing chemo and her Mom wanted to give her a scrapbook of her life (lump in throat just typing that....) I was honored to do the first page.

And another few pages:

This one is a 'scraplift' of my friend Sonda's page, from the Scrapjazz crop in February. Thanks Sonda - great page, worked for the picture perfectly!!

Oh Lordy....

It has just been so dang long. I would finish the post I started like 3 weeks ago, with Easter pictures.... but it would take so long........ Maybe I'll feel up to it another day. It was fun, and the kids were cute, 'nuf said.
We're just zipping through life, each day blasting past. Before I know it my kids will be all grown up and I'll be crying. Maren is going to be 8 months old..... already. I know - crazy. She's as sweet as can be, Declan's a dude and Teagan got the memo to be 2 1/2 (tricky). She's cute though, so that should keep her alive!
I'd like to get a new picture with all 3 of them very, very soon... maybe I'll work on that tomorrow.
