Bye bye Lake Tahoe.. *cry*

The girls weekend in Lake Tahoe was fabulous. It went *way* too fast. I planned for it for weeks, and it was over in a blink of an eye. My BFF Amy came from Arizona, and got to meet my Cali girlfriends. We loaded up the cars with easily thousands of dollars worth of scrapbooking supplies, and headed up the mountain! This is the house we stayed at.

We totally moved all the furniture around to accommodate the tables we brought to work on.

Here's Amy and Janice.

Michelle and Amy.

And here is Tanny.

The weather was perfect. It started to snow on Saturday afternoon. We went out to dinner Saturday night, and Tanny took pictures on her camera (don't forget to email those pic's to us!) We woke up to this on Sunday morning:

This is what traffic looked like when we got on the road...

This is what it looked like at the summit.

I don't think Amy was impressed.... =) Maybe it was that she was frozen solid in the backseat?

All in all, it was a great time, with great friends! I can't wait for the next one.... are we planning it yet??

The Nerve of Some People....

Yeah. This lady had the nerve to be stopped at a red light *right* in front of me. In MY car, with the top down. Sheesh. And on my Birthday. She ended up going where I was going, and parked that car right up front.... doesn't she know that is how you get door ding's?

Then I had a good chance to check her out, you know so I can see what someone who drives that car looks like.... Just to make sure I fit the profile. We won't go into that, but let's just say that I think I would do the car more justice than she did. LOL! I would have said that no matter who got out though...

I got to meet with some girlfriends and get my scrap on Saturday Night (thanks Greg!) at Green Tangerine's in Rocklin. I was working on Easter layouts since before the Miss was born. It would be nice to be caught up on all the previous Easter's before this years!

My Mom and Amy come tomorrow!! I'm so excited! I've got a lot of work to do *think Howie Mandel* like clean this house at least 1 layer. I know neither of them will hold it against me if the house is messy, but dirty is another story.
Anyhow, I'm going to get moving, since I think I would sit here all morning otherwise!

I should have done the '29 yrs old and holding' thing...

why didn't I think of that? Of course, I would have been caught by Declan. You can't pull anything over on that kid. He knew today was by 36th birthday, and I'm quite sure he's been sharing that with everyone.

Anywhooo... Woke up this morning already feeling older. And grayer. And wrinkleier. Plus, I seem to have this bronchial cough. And it hurts. I'm just chalking that up to being 36 too.

I'm going to Green Tangerine's to scrap tonight and may do some shopping on my way up to Rocklin. Old Navy has been missing me. I've got to do my stimulating the economy part there.

Just thought I'd pop on, and say thanks for the birthday wishes! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when people remember my birthday! =)

I'm gonna blame Facebook this time.

Because I can check in there and see what a lot of my friends are doing, and there is a chat feature there. So I neglect my blog. Then I feel guilty, then I have to come up with excuses. So, this time I'm going to blame Facebook.

We drove to Phoenix in February during "Ski week" aka President's Day, turned into a week off of school for the kids. Where was President's Week when I was a kid? Greg had planned on being in AZ for work that week anyway. Was I going to stay home with kids out of school for a week, and Greg 'working' ? No thanks. Plus, there are great scrapbook stores in AZ. So why not load up 3 little kids and drive 15 hours???? You know you would have too.

We had a great time, and got to visit with *some* of the Arizona folks. It's a problem for us when we go, there is just never enough time to see everyone we want to. Next time we will see Kelly and Belinda (and Everett too) for sure. We spent a day at McCormick Railroad park with my Dad and Cheri, and her grand kids. It was nice to finally meet my step-nephew and niece.

My girlfriends and I are off to our scrap weekend in Tahoe next Thursday. I've been spending every 'spare' (LOL!!) moment I have packing and planning my scrap things. I've even been dreaming about it at night. I signed up for a crop this Saturday night with my friends from Mom's group.... it's all scrap, all the time around here. Riveting for those of you who don't scrap.

Let's see... other random things of interest. I happened to look down while sitting in the drive thru at Taco Bell (off all places) and notice this:

Maren enjoying her french fries with ketchup...

Well, thanks for coming by... hopefully it was worth your few minutes!
